This is my second post on the same issue. Every day my belief on this dooms day scenario is growing bigger and bigger....Wonder whether I should respect my intuition and prepare for it or ignore it as another false belief?

It’s a fascinating prediction. The more I read about it, the more it intrigues me!!

Never allow such thoughts to grow. Its like a poison which will make you forget who you are

Well Guys, Don't take me wrong. I am not one of those who look up at stars before stepping out of my house. This is different. May be my wordings in my post could have been little different, but it is what it is. I am not going to defend myself, I agree with your views, but all I am saying is it is a fascinating subject. I shouldn’t have started reading about it but I did and it has a weird spell on me!!! The case is not whether I believe or not in this dooms day scenario, it’s more about how civilizations such as Mayan, Egyptians and Vedic could have derived this date. Why everyone give such an importance to this date? How can these civilizations be so advanced in Astrology without the aid of telescope? Is there a link we are missing?

No...I do not look down upon u...infact i am also much more curious about knowing anything that is remotely antic...but i haven't read anything about doom's day or something...i haven't read much about it either...but the point is Mayan civilization was a great one but it did not foresee it's own decline....and if the current rate of abuse of our environment and resources go on then ofcourse ours will also be gone one day....

@ Ela: If we dont point the mistakes then it will surely become a poison in future. We should atleast stop that.

Cheers!!!!!
